Business Behind the Scenes is the Connection's quarterly educational forums designed to inform you and your employees on a variety of topics. Hear from experts on topics such as social media, cash flow, networking, leadership, team building and more.

Women Business Leaders

The Connection's Women Business Leaders committee creates events and programming for the region's female business owners and employees. These events are designed specifically to connect the region's women in business and create women-to-women mentorships. 

Business University: Inspirational Leadership Development

BUILD is a professional development program with a goal to educate and upskill the small business workforce in Tulsa, creating future leaders in small business and retaining staff. Additionally, the program aims to help small business owners share more responsibility with their staff to help grow their business. Learn more.

Women Business Leaders: Lean in Together 

Connect with other women in small groups and build relationships over the course of six months. Groups will meet for one hour each month to discuss leadership development and other topics pertaining to women in business. Sign up now, and groups will be formed in March. Lean in Together registration is closed. Stay tuned for the next Lean in Together opportunity. 

SCORE Mentorship

The Connection knows that mentors are an important part of business, and has partnered with SCORE to offer mentorship at no cost. SCORE provides mentorship to businesses at all stages, and can help with areas such as learning from past mistakes, understanding how to layout your financials, writing a business plan and more. All services are free.
